Oscar Time!

Ooooh, the Oscars. I completely blame the Lord of the Rings for my obsession with them. They just...completely fascinate me. I love good movies, I love acting, I love film in general. it's nice to see the best of the industry get honored (or not). And I'm not gonna lie, I'm always kind of awed by the glamour of it all. When I was still into acting and thought I would grow up to be an actress, I used to dream that someday I'd win an Oscar. Or at least get invited to them once. Now that I'm older I know that the likelihood of that is about the same as the Doctor showing up in my dorm room with the TARDIS. Still, a girl can dream, can't she?
I've watched the Oscars every year since 2004, when Return of the King took it ALL. But this is the first year that I've actually seen enough of the movies that I feel qualified to make predictions/fill out a ballot. So here they are...

And that's that! I will be neglecting homework and watching the festivities tonight. May you all do the same! ;-)
